The following tutorial will show you how to create a web button to use on your Ebay and other web pages as a link. This tut should be easy to follow using Paint Shop Pro v.8 or v.9.

easy button

1.)To get started go to File > New > Presets > 88x31 Micro Button and then click O.K.

2.) Go to your bucket fill icon ( )and click it on and then go to your color pallette and choose a color that compliments the page you will be using it on. Fill your new canvas with your chosen color.

3.) Go to Effects > Buttonize . Below are the settings that I used on mine. Click O.K. when you are done.

4.) Go to Layers > New Raster Layer click O.K. when the new window pops up. With your new layer highlighted go to the Font Tool ( ) and choose your favorite font. Choose a font color that will compliment you web page and be easy to read on your button background. Below are the font settings that I used. Type in your text and click O.K. once you are satisfied with it.

4.) Go to Layers > Merge Visible and then save your image as a .jpg or .gif. You now have a new web button to use on your Ebay pages and other web sites.

*** Here is the HTML code you will need to display your button:
<a href="http://www.yourownurl.com/yourwebpageyouwanttolinkto.html"> <img src="http://www.yourserver.com/yourbutton.jpg" width="88" height="31" border="0" alt="button"> </a>
Of course you will need to fill in your own server information.

finished project
