5. Go to Layers > Add Raster Layer > . Highlight your new layer. Open up your tubes/graphics that you want to use.

*You may want to check the PSP Tools link at the top of this page if you are confused at this point. They include short introductions to the "Layer Palette" and other tools.

6.) Choose your tube and use your tube tool to place it on your banner (on the NEW LAYER). You may need to play with the size of your tube a little.
Here is mine w/two layers added and two tubes
(use a new layer for each tube)

7.) Go to Layers > and add another layer. Then choose your text tool, picked out a font, and choose a fill color that will compliment your banner and show up against your background color.

Here is mine
(I applied the same effect to the text as I did to the border)

Example

8.) (optional) Go to your layer palette and "X" out your bottom layer.
Go to your top layer and right click on it. Go to Merge > Merge Visible. You should now have two layers.
Highlight your top layer and go to Effects > Drop Shadow. These are the settings that I used:

9.)Go to your layer palette and un "X" your bottom layer. Go to File > Save As and save your final image

Here is my final banner.
Personally I think it looked better without the drop shadow.

Play around and be creative w/your own banner. You can change the transparency of different layers on your layer palette to get a different effect.
